The level of growth hormone in Turner'a syndrome

Objectives To research change the level of growth hormone in Turner's syndrome and to observe the effect on human growth horrnone therapy in Turner's syndrome.Methods There were 19 patients with Turner's sgndrome. They were received growth hormone stimulation tests and the part of them were treated with human growth hormone.Results Growth hormone complete deficiency 9, part of deficiency 8 and normal 2. There were 7 Patients treated with human growth hormone. Height velocity showed more increase after treatment than be fore it. The best,seven tnonths increased 5. 6cm.Conclusion Growth retardation of Turner's syndrome were related to level of growth hormone, it would be improved with hurnan growth hormone.
