Abstract
The polymer gel was synthesized from HPAM solution and polymer phenolic resin as the cross-linker.Then under different ratio of HPAM to polymer phenolic resin, change of the gel viscosity along with time was investigated, and the best ratio was gained. The results show that the higher the cross-linker concentration, the faster the crosslinking, the greater the gel viscosity, the best ratio of the polymer gel system is 2.5: 1,and the viscosity of the cross-linked gel is higher than uncross-linked HPAM gel.
