Abstract
The importance of agricultural insurance is highlighted by the present situation of related laws and regulations.It is necessary to enact Agricultural Insurance Act.Its content shall consist of three parts: agricultural insurance contract system,agricultural insurance operation and management system and agricultural insurance liability system.The basic principles of Agricultural Insurance Act are: the government moderate intervention principle,reasonable subsidy principle and compulsory insurance and voluntary insurance combination principle.
