An Evaluation on the Urban Eco-system Health of Changjiang Delta

The urban eco-system has been one of the hot research fields with the build of eco-city. Based on the comprehensive eco-system theory, the concept of urban eco-system health is discussed from the view of eco-system health; then the index system used to evaluate urban eco-system health is set up and an evaluation on the eco-system health of Changjiang delta is carried out with the hierarchical analysis method. The result indicated that: the sequence of the urban eco-system health index form the high to low is Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Nibo, Changzhou, Yangzhou.
