Abstract
NC programming and detection are difficult issues that existing in multi-axis CNC machine tools' machining. In order to ensure processing quality and validate the accuracy of NC programs, virtual machining simulation system should be built.Simulation platform of five-axis CNC virtual machining was constructed, which was based on DMC60TR and advanced CNC machining simulation features of VERICUT software.By aiming at technical difficulties in the processing of modeling and simulation for machine tools, the solutions were proposed correspondingly and simulation of machining process was realized. The results show that the validity of NC program is verified by NC simulation, and efficiency is improved. It provides a guide for the modeling and simulation of multi-axis CNC machine tools.
