Research of the Urban Underground Pipeline Information Management

The rhythm of urban life had been greatly accelerated along with the rapid development of the city informalization,a lot of underground pipelines,such as the water supply pipeline,power supply pipeline,heating pipeline,and so on,had been used more frequently.Various interlaced pipelines,with its complex structure,made the modernization of information management for the urban underground pipelines face an austere test.The underground pipelines had the characteristics as follows: buried under the ground,massive amount of information,long storage life,continuous operation requirement and so on,so the method only rely on the drawings,charts,and other forms to record and save the pipeline information,and the manual management based on these had been unable to meet the needs of the development for the modern city whose scale had been increasingly enlarged and economic and social activities had been increasingly speed up.In this paper,it first introduced the present situation of the urban underground pipeline information management,then analyzed the technique development process and the existing problems in its management and finally advanced the related strategies for the underground pipeline information management.
