Abstract
The method to design the digital system through programmable logic devices CPLD and hardware description language VHDL.The advantages of digital system design based on CPLD and VHDL design process are proposed.The CPLD design is based on the chip as well as hierarchy and is a kind of method from top to down.The text gives a design example of the application of CPLD.
