Abstract
Performance/displacement based seismic design are attentioned by many people.It is a new concept method of seismic design according to traditional method. In the paper , capacity spectrum method - one of the methods of seismic design are discussed .The background and the procedure of the method are introduced . At last, some issues which need to be studied are discussed.
