Abstract

The soil chemical properties, soil enzyme activity, soil structure and soil pore components in hybrid of Eucalyptus Grandis×Eucalyptus urophylla plantation with different silvicultural density were investigated and compared The results showed that hybrid of Eucalyptus Grandis×E.urophylla stands with reasonable silvicultural density could enhance soil fertility, including the quantity of soil organic substances, the content of N,P and K,and the soil enzyme activity.Compared with the uncultivated land, the soil aggregate, structure damage rate and soil porosity in different stands were better, and the stands whose densities were 1 325 trees hm -2 were best.
