Abstract

Yangtze River estuary is a tidal estuary with moderate runoff and tide.It has a huge tidal influx.Hydrodynamic factor of Yangtze River estuary is based on runoff and tidal flow.The location of tidal current limit changes with fluctuation of upstream runoff.The domestically prevalent view that the location of Yangtze tidal current limit is at Jiangyin is inaccurate.
