Abstract
The effects of Controlled-Release Potassium Fertilizers (CRPF) on the status in nutrition of flue-cured tobacco with employing conventional potassium fertilizer and non-potassium experiment were studied. The results indicated that the content of potassium in flue-cured tobacco leaves treated with CRPF was increased as compared to common fertilizer. The K contents of flue-cured tobacco leaves treated with 75 kg K 2O /hm 2,150 kg K 2O /hm 2,225 kg K 2O /hm 2 was 2.58%,2.96%,3.01%,respectively. The reason for the K content increases in flue-cured tobacco was that CRPF increased the content of the available potassium in the rhizosphere soil and optimized the potassium nutritional condition for growth of flue-cured tobacco.
