Analysis of the impact of infrastructure on agricultural output——based on panel data model

Agricultural infrastructure includes two categories of production infrastructure and non- productive infrastructure. Taking the 2000 ~ 2011 Chinese provincial panel data as an example,this paper verifies the influence of agricultural infrastructure on production. Through unit root test and co- integration analysis method,this paper concretely calculates the impact of various investments on agricultural total production. The research result suggests that communication facilities in rural areas are the primary factor in the development of the rural economy,the improving function of farmland water conservancy fails to meet the expectations. Due to the promoting effect of agricultural infrastructure on agricultural production,it is necessary to increase investment in infrastructure,optimize the structure and value agricultural infrastructure maintenance so as to constitute a powerful impetus of the sustainable and stable growth in China's future rural economy.
