Abstract
In the 16th century,the bud of capitalism of China was developed in the town of Jiangnan,which symbolized that Chinese society had stepped into a period of economic and social transformation.Zhujing Town depending on its traditional resources adapted to the development of commodity economy and was absorbed into the traditional economical system with Suzhou as the center,and even the market networks of Jiangnan and the whole country,becoming the central area of Jinshan.The development of Zhujing Town embodied a sort of pattern of Jiangnan town in the Ming and Qing period.Exploring the way of its development is helpful to understand the development of Jiangnan towns.
