Abstract
Modal analysis is the basis of some other dynamic response. For further analysis of dynamic response of the tanks in earthquake, simplified mass-added models were built with ANSYS program, and the first 30 modals of anchored and unanchored tanks were extracted as well as some three-dimension mode figures. The results indicate that, most models of the empty large storage tanks show multiple circumferential waves, and the upper parts of the tanks show relative large deformation,so it is essential to take some seismic reinforcement measures to the upper parts of the tank wall.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
