On the Features of Distribution,Classification and Styles of Baoji Folk Songs

Baoji folk songs are created collectively orally and are the historical portraiture of the vivid descriptions of the life and struggles of the people in Baoji area.Baoji folk songs can be classified into six categories,namely,work songs,folk songs,chansonettes,Shehuo songs,folk custom songs,and religious songs.The songs are from a wild range of sources with multiple styles,rich contents combining closely with the Xifu dialect;therefore,they embody the features of regional characters and national styles.
