Research on the Teaching Reform of Economics Course Based on General Education

To promote general education is an important measure for the universities of China to implement the comprehensive quality education to meet the demands of economy and society. As one of the most perfect basic disciplines in the field of humanities and social sciences,economics is helpful for students to understand the economic phenomenon,analyses and solve the realistic economic problems by using the simple economics theory,so it is an important part of the general education curriculum system in many universities.Aiming at the shortcomings of economics general education curriculum in the aspects of teaching orientation,teaching content,teaching resources and teaching mode,the paper suggests that reforms be done from institutional arrangement,curriculum system,teaching material,and teaching methods to guide students' autonomous learning,which will ensure the reform of economics general education curriculum in China achieve substantive progress.
