Abstract

[Objective]To understand the examination results of bone mineral density(BMD) in health examination crowd, analyze its influencing factors, and provide the scientific evidences for diagnosis, treatment and nursing intervention of people with abnormal results of bone mineral density examination.[Methods]The supersonic speed(SOS) value at the 1/3 radius of the distal end of left forearm in 552 healthy people were tested by ultrasound bone densitometer(Israel,Sunlight). The results were analyzed according to age, gender and lifestyle habits(including smoking, drinking, drinking coffee and outdoor activities).[Results] ①BMD peak mainly occurred in 30-40 years old age group.BMD values in females aged over 50 years old showed the significant accelerated downward trend, while this phenomenon was not found in males.②The prevalence rate of osteoporosis in females was significantly higher than that in males.③BMD values significantly decreased among people who had the lifestyle habits of smoking, drinking, lack of exercise, and the sunshine time below 1 h/d(P0.05).[Conclusion]With the increasing age, regular BMD examination can early detect bone abnormalities.Effective nursing intervention in osteoporosis can delay the osteoporosis, and reduce the incidence rate and the disability rate of fractura.
