Abstract
On the basis of analysis of previous research,the concept of urbanization of new town and comprehensive carrying capacity of the town is redefined.Meanwhile,the basic framework of comprehensive carrying capacity of the town is concluded which includes resource carrying capacity,environment carrying capacity,economy carrying capacity and society carrying capacity.According to the set principle of index selection,evaluation index system of comprehensive carrying capacity is constructed,which is of great significance for the evaluation and improvement of comprehensive carrying capacity of the town.
