Study of the relationship between individual personality and coronary heart disease

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between individual personality and coronary heart disease.MethodsThirty-seven cases with susceptible coronary heart disease were studied by means of selective coronary angiography and Eysenck personality questionnaire.ResultsPatients without coronary heart disease(CHD) demonstrated mainly typical extroversion personality,while patients with CHD were mostly osculant personality(P0.05).ConclusionsDifferent individual personalities play different role in the occurrence and development of CHD.
