Abstract
Based on the data of the orientation observation of different forest area types in the red soil regions of hill area in South Hunan, the difference of runoff and sediment yield were comparative analyzed between drought and rainy years. The results showed that the runoff, sediment yield and coefficient of runoff of the rainy year(2010) were bigger than the drought year(2009).The magnitudes of runoff and sediment yield were closely related to the frequency and rainfall values of large rainfall events.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
