Abstract

Objective:To observe the complete response rate of diarrhea and median time of response to octreotide and loperamide in 5-Fluorouracial-induced diarrhea.Method:30 cases patients with 5-Fluorouracial-induced diarrhea are divided into octreotide group(OCT group 14) and loperamide group(LOP group 16)respectively.Result:The complete response rate of diarrhea is 78.57% (11/14) in OCT group and 43.75% (7/16) in LOP group. There was satatistically significant difference beaween these twe groups(P0.05),The midian time of complete response was 3 days in OCT group and 6.5 days in LOP group. Conclusion:Octveotide was more effect than loperamide in 5- Fluorouracial-induced diarrhea, and may improve diarrhea in shirt period.
