THE EARLIEST SATELLITE TOWN IN CHINA——The Zhuling County to Changan City in the Western Han Dynasty

The ZhuLing County to Changan City closely,the capital of the Western Han Dynasty two thousand years ago,was the earliest satellite town in China.This paper sets forth the setup of the Zhuling County,the immigration composition and its special status.The paper has given a minute description that the Zhuling County had played a great role and made effect on the Western Dynasty politically,economically and militarily.The author thinks that the way of setting up satellite towns around a central city,was an important breakthrough in urban construction plan historically in China.
