Abstract
The Guest is a short story written by Albert Camus.In the short story,Daru,the protagonist,treated an Algerian in a humanitarian way while they are being together for one day and night,which made the murderer feel the dignity of being human.They both made their own existential free choices in a dilemmatic situation,and shouldered its consequences.Thus they both became existential heroes,and made the light of human dignity shine in this absurd cosmos.
