Abstract

Traditional direct torque control has some problems. For example, the estimated value of flux linkage is not precise and the high torque ripple exists especially when motor is at low speed. In this paper, a modified model for flux linkage calculation and divided space vector modulation for voltage vector selection was proposed. The simulation results show that the estimated value of flux linkage is more accurate and the torque ripple is reduced.
