Abstract
Conducts the systematic observation on leaf venational patterns of1 general and1 4 species of Chinese yam in Fujian. Based on their different characteristics, the Chinese yam leaf vena- tions are divided into two tyte:eclosion and curve. These species venational characteristics distinct from each other in a number of primary vein, ramified, the secondary veins' angle of divergence and behaviour, the third veins' tyte, mesh grow stste of affairs and the venations type of the leaf edge. And these distinctive characteristics are sterdy, which indicate thatthe leaf venational of Chinese yam have significance for the delimitation of species.
