Abstract
Objective:To study the correlation between blood alcohol concentration(BAC) and drunk-driving traffic accident, provide statistics for prevention from drunk-driving.Methods:Analyze the BAC of 1518 drunk-driving cases in Jiangmen during 2007~2008,from the aspect of age, gender and accident time. Results:In 1518 cases, driver aged between 20~50 sums up 1330,87.6%.Male driver sums up 1368,90.1%.Elevated driver takes 55.1%,in which drinking driver takes 11.5% and drunk driver takes 40.7%.In the cases of 2008,elevated driver takes 59.8%,significantly greater than 51.4% of 2007(χ2=10.6907,P0.01),in which statistics of drinking driver is without significantly difference from 2007(χ2=0.3152,P0.05),and drunk driver takes 45.8%,significantly greater than 36.6% of 2007(χ2=13.1051,P0.01),whose addition is 56.8%,significantly greater than 48.6% of 2007(χ2=10.2505,P0.01).Comparing legal work-off days and working days in 2007 and 2008,the day-average of cases in legal work-off days is 2.39,significantly greater than 1.93 in working day(t=15.9534,P0.01).Conclusion:Drunk-driving happens almost with young men in legal work-off day,and is increasing.Prevention from that should be reinforced.
