Abstract
As a new undergraduate specialty in biology fields,biotechnology specialty was enlisted the specialty catalogue by the Ministry of Education in 1998,under the situation of higher education adapting to the main front of economic construction.Specialty construction,course construction,teaching reform,and the way and method suit the local economy construction of biotechnology specialty in undergraduate colleges were discussed,which provided theoretical basis for the practices of biotechnology specialty.
