Adjustment and Influence of U.S. Geopolitical Strategy after 9/11 Event

Since 9/11 Event, five changes on U.S. geopolitical strategy have taken place: first, changing the view on the geopolitical strategy with powers as opponents; second, attaching importance to Asian-Pacific and regions outside Eurasia; third, more flexible alliance policies; forth, laying stress on the military operation of the air force; fifth, adjusting the forward deployment. Moreover, the adjustment of U.S. geopolitical strategy has four main effects on the situation of the global geopolitical strategy,the following aspects are included: the degree of confrontation between powers' geopolitics is going down; the coastal area in Asia has become the most active area of the global geopolitics; the rising of India is being stepped up and changes have taken place in energy structure of the world .
