Elective Curriculum System Management in the Military Medical University

High quality curriculum can stimulate the students interest and study initiative,broaden the students' knowledge.Perfecting the courses system,enhancing the level of curriculum management is the foundation to adapt to the modern higher medical education reform,and realize the training goal of the army medical colleges and universities.We should clear the mutual support and mutual relevance relation between the elective curriculum and compulsory curriculum.We should focus on the requirements of training goals to set up the curriculums,make full use of the basic functions of elective courses and meeting the requirement of students.The curriculum management should be flexible.On the basis of following the principle of independent course selection,a credit management system should be applied,and a drawing back and continuing the curriculum study mechanism be set up.At the same time,a strict appraisal system of teaching and learning is also needed.
