Abstract
To prepare venlafxine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets.Hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose(HPMC) and methyl cellulose(MC) were used as main materials to prepare sustained-release tablets of velafaxine hydrochloride and the influence of important factors on in vitro release curves of venlafaxine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets was investigated. Results:The optimal prescription included 100 mg HPMC,25 mg MC,and 2.5% glidant in one tablet prepared with 30kN.The tablets were prepared with the method of wet granulation by NO.16 mesh sieve. The tablets exhibited good sustained-release property in phosphate buffered solution (pH=6.8).The as-prepared venlafxine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets have good sustained-release property.
