Current state of cataloging in college and university libraries of China

The current state of cataloguers,cataloging contents and methods,cataloging outsourcing,value of cataloging information and librarians in college and university libraries of China were investigated and analyzed in order to have a better understanding of the status quo of cataloging in college and university libraries of China and its related problems.It was pointed out that library should cultivate and train a cataloging contingent that can meet the requirements in network era,actively expand and deepen cataloging contents and perfect cataloging methods,correctly deal with cataloging outsourcing.
