Abstract
This paper researched on annual distribution characteristic of runoff of Kaidu River.Collecting monthly runoff from 1956 to 2006 of Dashankou hydro-station,the runoff was divided into six periods which hydrology change characteristic is similar based on Mann-Kendall rank statistical method and wavelet analysis. And then, the annual distribution characteristic of Kaidu River was further discussed by using the indexes of nonuniform coefficient, degree and time concentration, variation range, and month(season) percentage. The results showed: ① the variation of annual runoff of Kaidu River was larger, annual runoff distribution was very uneven;② the runoff mainly concentrated in June to August, the special low water month were February to March;③ the annual runoff distribution were effected on temperature change and high mountain snow melt runoff.
