Abstract

【Objective】 To observe the features of the culprit vessel in patients with accompanied angina pectoris patients with diabetes by Intravascular ultrasound.【Methods】141 cases that were proved AP by IVUS were selected and divided into two groups according to with or without diabetes.DM group 23 cases;without DM group 118.IVUS were applied in all patients with CAD.【Results】141lesions were analyzed, the LA of DM was smaller than without DM,the EEM、PA、PB were larger than without DM.(P0.05);the RLA of section with DM was smaller than without DM,the RPA、RPB of section with DM were larger than without DM,(P0.001).There were no significant differences in plaque character and remodeling index type between two groups.【Conclusions】The PB in lesion segment and reference segment were larger in patients with AP accompanied with diabetes. The lesion was very hard and diffuse. There were no significant differences in plaque character.
