Abstract
Indoor experiment simulated field condition, the effect of N and P fertilizers on enzyme activities and respiration rate in red soil were studied. The results shown,N fertilizer resulted in the decrease of urease, acid phosphatase and dehydrogenase activity.P fertilizer caused the decrease of urease activity and dehydrogenase activity, and acid phosphatase activity slightly increased.Catalase activity was unaffected by N and P fertilizer.Using Fertilizer induced the change of respiratory intensity.Because mineral fertilizer was primary fertilizer in tested field, mineral fertilizer and organic fertilizer cooperated which would be benificial to soil ecological environment.
