Abstract

The Optimization of the sandwich piezoelectric ceramic ultrasonic transducer is studied The frequency and the electromechanical characteristics of the sandwich transducers with thick electrode in middle are analyzed The relationship between the resonance frequency, the antiresonance frequency and the effective electromechanical coupling coefficient and the thickness of the electrode is obtained The effect of the position and the dimensions of the piezoelectric ceramic elements on the resonance frequency, the antiresonance frequency and the effective electromechanical coupling coefficient are discussed.The conclusions are beneficial to the optimization of the sandwich piezoelectric ceramic ultrasonic transducer
