Abstract

The advancement of aesthetics is based on the innovation of its thinking mode,major concepts and ideas.The construction of aesthetic theories in the new century should face up to the varied aesthetic and cultural phenomena,show deep concern to humanity,and provide a hermeneutic system fro the significance of modern human beings.From the perspective of disciplinary development,the thesis holds that new practical aesthetics just systemized traditional aesthetic theories;it provides nothing new for the development of aesthetics.
