Effect of Meigs Syndrome in Disdiagnosis of Ovarian Tumor and Proventive Countermove of It

Objective In order to take preventive measures,to analyse the misdiagnostic casese of Meigs syndrome.Methods Retrospective reseach was carried out in fifty one patients of ovarian tumor and eight patients of them were Meigs Syndrome.Results In all cases reported in this article,eight patients with Meigs Syndrome were delayed in proper diagnosis.Conclusions We pointed out:ovarian tumor shauld be suspected when small to moderate of hydrothorax/ascites were hidden to such an extent that without/few symtoms and that should look for other clinical manifections,signs and laboratory findings of ovarian tumor.In these,B us、CT、MRI、etc is important for exploration of ovarian tumor.
