Abstract

[Objective]To study clinical efficacy of tramadol in the treatment of shivering response.[Methods]150 patients with lumbar epidural anesthesia were randomly divided into 3 groups,50 cases in each group, the control group(A group)and tramadol group(B group),pethidine(C group).A treatment group received normal saline,B treatment group received tramadol,C group received pethidine treatment, compared three groups of effects and adverse reactions.[Results]A group and C group,B group significantly improved the incidence of chills, and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).In addition, nausea, vomiting, respiratory depression, drowsiness and other adverse reactions in B group were significantly lower than the C group, and the difference was significant(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]Tramadol in treatment of shivering after epidural anesthesia is a safe and effective drug.
