Discussion on the Teaching Reform of Construction Management Major in Higher Vocational Colleges

Nowadays, higher vocational colleges often carry out the strategy of reducing the teaching time in order to adapt to the new situation of social economic development,which means that teachers not only need to finish their prescribed teaching contents in the shorter teaching time but also need to impart more new professional knowledge and industry information to higher vocational students so as to guarantee the efficiency of the teaching and improve the teaching effects. How to transform the traditional teaching mode in the limited teaching time and improve students' learning interests is a problem needing to be solved urgently for each teacher of construction management in higher vocational colleges. The paper firstly analyzes the specific requirements of the current employment market for the qualities of construction engineering management talents in higher vocational colleges, and combines the teaching experience to put forward some suggestions for the teaching reform in this major.
