Effects of persimm on leaf flavonoids and combined with captopril on blood pressure in renovascular hypertensive rats

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of persimm on leaf flavonoids(PLF) and combined with captopril(CAP) on blood pressure in renovascular hypertensive rats.Methods: Two-kidney one clip(2K1C)renal hypertensive rats were randomly divided into model group,PLF group,CAP group,PLF+CAPgroup,in which oral administration was given once daily for 4weeks but sham operation group received normal saline.Withdrawal was in one week.Systolic blood pressure(SBP) and the heart rate(HR) of RHRs were measured by tail cuffmethod regularly.Results:Compared with model group,3 days after administration of P-C group showed a significant antihypertensive effect associated with heart rate(P0.05).1 week after discontinuation P-C group had the smallest rise in blood pressure(P0.05).Conclusion:The persimmon leaf flavonoids combined with captopril on the RHR has a satisfactory hypotensive effect.
