Abstract
Muyang river is an important branch of Songhuaba reservoir, and the water quality of Muyang river has a direct relationship with the water quality of Songhuaba reservoir.Muyang river was monitored and analyzed. The results showed that:(1)The river discharge and its variation coefficient were upper reaches middle reaches lower reaches.(2)The pH change of Muyang river was small, the value between 7.5 and 9.0.(3)The COD change of Muyang river was large;the COD change of upper and middle reaches was higher than lower reaches, the COD of lower reaches was relatively stabile.(4)The TN change of Muyang river was highest in wet season and was lowest in dry season.TN concentrations relatively stabile, and had little variation in dry season.(5)There was a positive temporal relationship between discharge and TP,the TP change of Muyang river had delayed effect.(6)The COD could sensitively reflect water quality condition;the TN could reflect catchment environmental changes;the TP could reflect soil and water loss of Muyang river.
