Maintenance and strengthening of prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridges

Abstract

According to different type of cracks,some strengthening methods of the prestressed concrete continuous box girders of a bridge suffered damages are proposed.Several methods of the mentioned above are applied to a bridge strengthening practise.The reasonability and effectiveness of the strengthening method is demonstrated by static,dynamic tests,and after a period of traffic operation.
