Abstract
This paper describes the cutting of Linux kernel, file system customization, adding real-time kernel to Linux (forming a double kernel operating system), RTLinux API, and the implementation of installing an embedded real-time Linux into a DOC (DiskOnChip) mounted upon a PC/104 module. Moreover, in order to make the system more practical, this paper also introduces the way to add network facilities and graphic user interfaces.
