Review on Modern Literature of Depression

Objective:Through the modern literature research,analyse the major depression syndrome and the symptoms in order to provide the reference for depression of clinical and basic research.Methods:Through the database online retrieval combined with manual retrieval,according to the inclusion criterion and canonical name,statisticalize frequence of depression syndrome and symptoms were analyzed.Results:The top 10 frequency depression syndromes are:liver depression,heart-spleen deficiency,intermingled phlegm and qi,liver depression and spleen deficiency,depressed liver qi transforming into fire,blood stasis due to qi stagnation,liver-kidney yin deficiency,yin deficiency with effulgent fire,spleen-kidney yang deficiency,worry hurting spirit.And the main symptoms of every syndrome were determined.Conclusion:The above results provide important reference for the clinical and basic research about depression syndrome.
