Abstract
Stearic acid is an important chemical industry material. In order to spur the innovation of manufacture technics of stearic acid and its ramification, we survey some relavent literature,summarize the synthesis theory of stearic acid and analyze the commonly synthesis route of stearic acid, stearate and the ramification of stearic acid (including butyl stearic acid , single glycerol stearic acid and methyl stearic acid). Moreover, the new manufacture technics and the strongpoints of stearic acid and stearate are introduced,thus providing some help for improving the synthesis method and optimizing manufacture technics.
