Progress of Trimetazidine in Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases

Abstract
As a new type of anti-ischaemic drug,trimetazidine has good protection effects on human myocardium through inhibiting fatty acid oxidation,increasing glucose metabolism and improving energy metabolism in myocardial cells.Trimetazidine has been widely used in clinical experiences without effects on hemodynamics.This article reviewed the clinical application of trimetazidine in treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
