Fast Finite Element Analysis of Catenary System

Abstract

When the parameters in the catenary structure are changed,the finite model has to be rebuilt and the calculating also has to be re-conducted. The catenary structure parameter model based on ANSYS is re-developed,the system performances are realized in VB.NET platform. According to the structure characteristics of catenary,parameterized modeling of catenary is realized. By using.NET Assembly,the M function written in MATLAB is compiled into dynamic link library file to calculate load parameter of catenary. The system can realize the contact net static calculation,modal analysis,harmonic response analysis,spectrum analysis. The simulating results are in good accordance with the results in related document which proves the correctness and feasibility of the model.
