Abstract
Topographic factor determines the formation and re-distribution of ground substance and energy. It is one of the important factors affecting the soil and water loss. In the research process of slope soil erosion and sediment production,it usually studies on the macro-topographic factors of slope gradient and slope length, but ignores the quantitative study of micro-topographical factors of slope rill erosion morphology. The paper systematically introduced the representative achievements of predecessors in the study on quantitative response of slope rill morphology and erosion sediment production, elaborated the influence of slope erosion morphology to the slope erosion sediment production and pointed out the existing problems in the present study of rill erosion and the development orientation of future research.
