Abstract
The current research about the probabilistic network mode focuses on the estimation of project duration and the identification to the critical nature of the networks.Little research has been conducted on the path float and activity float most of which is mainly based on the deterministic network planning time float.Time float is an important parameter for the time control in project management using networks. This paper proposed a calculation model to calculate the path float and activity float of the networks combining the random advantage theory, which provides the references to solve the problems of float for probabilistic network models.
