Reestablishment in Rational Crisis:"New Rational Spirit Literary Criticism" by Qian Zhongwen

Approximately speaking,in the late 20th century,Chinese and western reason experienced periods of being worshipped,abnormally developing,overthrowing,and at last being abandoned.Confronting rational crisis and a sensibility flooding,Qian Zhongwen proposed new rational spirit,in hope of rectifying the relationship among sense and sensibility,anti-reason,and anti-ideal,so as to refresh the reason.In addition,he took this idea into literature and art,forming his distinctive new rational spirit literary criticism.It owns a strongly practical pertinence and problem consciousness,and with its prolific connotation,it positively responses the dilemma confronts literature,art,value,and moral,thus promoting the value rebuilding and exerting a great impact to contemporary world.
